BMWK and BMWSB present an immediate program with climate protection measures for the building sector.
On July 13, 2022, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB) presented an immediate program for the building sector. The goal of the program is to bring the building sector in line with climate policy so that the annual emission limits allowed under the Climate Protection Act can be met in the future and that Germany can achieve its next climate goal - reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 65 percent by 2030 compared to 1990 levels.
